From Sevilla to Glasgow: My Journey as a Personal Assistant in Football

When I first arrived in Sevilla, I was working as a nanny for an Andalusian deputy. But as someone who has always been a seeker of opportunities, I soon found myself in the right place at the right time.

It was in Sevilla that I met José Antonio Reyes, the Spanish international who at the time was playing for Arsenal. Although he sadly passed away in 2019, I will always remember him as the first person who gave me a glimpse into the world of professional football — a world I had never imagined would become my vocation. That experience marked the beginning of my career as a Personal Assistant, supporting athletes and high-profile clients with discretion, empathy, and trust.

Sevilla: My First Opportunity

Sevilla was the city where I learned my first lessons in this profession. What started with simple tasks soon became the foundation for my work in football: supporting players, managing their daily routines, and being a trusted presence when life off the pitch felt overwhelming. Sevilla was also where I first realized how much athletes need stability and discretion in their personal lives.

Barcelona: Broadening My Perspective

My next step was Barcelona, where I had the opportunity to meet and work with players connected to clubs such as FC Barcelona and Espanyol. In this vibrant city, I discovered the complexity of international football — from intense training schedules to the pressure of representing some of the world’s most recognized clubs.

Barcelona taught me that being a Personal Assistant in football is not just about logistics. It is about helping athletes and their families adapt to new environments, languages, and cultures. It was in Barcelona that I deepened my understanding of relocation support and lifestyle management for elite clients.

London: A Global Hub

Later, I moved to London, one of the most important hubs of global football. There, I connected with players from prestigious clubs such as Chelsea, and expanded my role as a Personal Assistant for high-profile clients.

London showed me that this profession requires precision, confidentiality, and the ability to anticipate every detail. The demands of international players, executives, and families living in one of the busiest cities in the world pushed me to grow and become even more adaptable.

Glasgow: Where I Am Today

Today, I am based in Glasgow, Scotland — a city that has allowed me to expand my career even further. My first role here was supporting a high-profile family, where I managed responsibilities that required discretion, trust, and the ability to anticipate every detail.

That experience reinforced my commitment to confidentiality and opened the door to once again collaborate with footballers, continuing the path I had started years earlier. From Glasgow, I now work with both athletes and executives, as well as families who require luxury lifestyle management, relocation support, and complete discretion.

Lessons Along the Way

Each city shaped me in a different way. Sevilla gave me my first opportunity. Barcelona broadened my perspective. London sharpened my precision and global vision. And Glasgow is where I now bring it all together to provide trusted support for athletes, executives, and families.

What began years ago with José Antonio Reyes has grown into a career built on discretion, empathy, and foresight. My story is proof that behind every professional journey, there is always a first opportunity — and mine started in Sevilla.
